Curiouser and Curiouser

No Wonder

The Iron Mountain Mine is
the source of a toxic stew that has polluted the Sacramento River and its tributaries for more than a century.

Sometimes we miss the obvious things, like the reason most people in Redding voted for Palin and the, "Old Guy";

"It's the water, stupid!"

The locals have been drinking
this toxic water and breeding more toxic water drinkers for over 100 years. This could explain why they actually listen to Sean Hannity, and throw tea bags in the river, thinking it's their patriotic duty. Clearly no one drinking pure water would ever watch Fox news, or listen to misinformed megalomaniacs who broadcast on, "right wing" radio shows, would they?

What's In Your Well?

Toxic snail.

I have been using
the tap water to make coffee for nearly 2 years! Does this mean I will soon have a yellow ribbon decal, stylized fish, and a Blagojavich/Palin 2012, bumper sticker on the back of the Buick? I shudder at the thought. OMG, I shower with this toxic wastewater!

This revelation explains
why the city approved the beautification of Hilltop Dr. with palm trees and underground power lines. They are all under the control of the toxic creatures that have invaded their brains. Who, in their right mind, would want to make their town a nicer place to live?
