A Day To Remember

Clear And Colorful

The trees in front of 'A' building look colorful against the blue sky. 12/7/10

Brightly colored leaves abound at the Treehouse Senior Apts. 12/7/10

Freshly washed rosebuds along the entrance to the Treehouse. 12/7/10

Today the holly berries are clean and shiny after the rains. 12/7/10

A gorgeous day in the neighborhood. 12/7/10

Raindrops cling to this rose after a shower. 12/7/10

And Finally,

Dessert that looks as good as it was, thanks to the Lumix TZ1. 12/6/10

It has been a beautiful day for snapping pictures with the Panasonic Lumix TZ1.

It was also 'Pearl Harbor Day'.

I was remembering the silly kids games that were popular when I was a silly kid. The Pearl Harbor sneak attack tickle game was one that seems strange in retrospect. We played cowboys and Indians back then, that seems a bit weird looking back from today's perspective.

When I was a kid living in Pennsylvania, Yankees and Confederates was a popular battle type game, too.

I haven't seen any kids playing North and South Korea, or North and South Vietnam. I guess those conflicts weren't as glorious as the systematic massacre of the indigenous people of the continental U.S.

Today's Relatively Appropriate Song;

Truth, Justice, and the American way.
