An Artistic Adventure

Very Refreshing

The Mt Lassen Art Festival setting, was the best show of all. Located a few thousand feet above the valley below, and about a dozen miles from Mt Lassen, Howard “Luke” Lucas opens up his Viola, California studio property one weekend a year for artists to display their creations.

For me, the best of show was the environment. There were flowers, flowering trees, flowering shrubs, and trickling, gurgling, flowing water throughout the property.

There were dogwoods and daisies.

There were bees

There were butterflies

And beetles

My neighbor, Carol, was there with her artwork hanging inside one of the airy and light tent galleries situated on Scharsch Meadow. It was a wonderful place to view paintings, photographs, and crafts.

There was a barbecue for the hungry and the mountain air was comfortable and refreshing.

Today’s Video;

Irresistible
