Nearly half of California’s fresh water is used for the production of beef in corporate cattle factories. Think about that when you hear people ranting about golf courses or lawns in Los Angeles.

Remember that the people in all the towns and cities in our state use about 8% of California’s freshwater, compared to 50% for industrial beef that is sold out of state.

Our own California ranchers provide enough pastured cattle to assure California’s meat supply. We really can’t afford to let out of state corporate beef companies waste half our state’s water on a product we don’t even need.

So, I guess the biggest threat to citizens in America are homegrown weapons like the republican budget cuts that target the middle class, the poor, women, veterans, disabled people, old people, public education, the post office, social security and affordable healthcare.

I am sure I left out a few specific targets of the right wing kamikaze suicide mission, but if they get their way they will sink us all.
